Sound production on set, dialogue editing, sound design, sound effects, ADR, and final mix for films, commercials, television productions, and branded content.

See the scope of post-production! Let's talk about production!

From the shooting set to the finished soundtrack

Art-Live produces sound for film, commercial, and corporate productions — from recording dialogue on set to complete audio post-production.

Well-prepared sound starts before the first take. We analyze the nature of the production, the conditions on set, and the method of later distribution of the material, ensuring that recordings are made with the subsequent stages of post-production in mind.

After filming, we handle dialogue editing and cleaning, sound design, effects, ADR, voiceover recordings, and final mixing.

We do not treat the set and post-production as two independent services. It is one process aimed at creating a cohesive and clear sound layer ready for publication.

Scope of services

Comprehensive sound production for visuals

Sound on set

We record dialogues and sounds needed for film, commercial, or television production. We select the microphone technique and recording setup according to the scene, location, and the working method of the film crew.

Dialogue editing and cleaning

We organize the material from the shoot, select the best shots, synchronize the tracks, and improve the clarity of the dialogues. Where possible, we reduce noise and elements that disrupt the reception of the statements.

Sound design and sound engineering

We build the sound layer of the film, advertisement, or video material: atmospheres, effects, transitions, and sound elements that support the rhythm and narrative of the image.

Post-synchronization and ADR

If the material from the shoot requires re-recording of dialogue, we carry out post-synchronization matched to the image and the character of the original scene.

Voice-over recordings / voice-over

We record voice-over for advertisements, corporate films, presentations, online materials, and other audiovisual productions, and then prepare the voice for the final mix.

Mixing and preparation of the material

We combine dialogues, music, effects, and other elements into one cohesive track. The final format is prepared according to the purpose and requirements of the specific production.

Film camera on set during sound recording for the film

Dialogue above all

In a film, the viewer can accept many elements of the image. Unintelligible dialogue — much less often.

That’s why during production and post-production, we pay special attention to the dialogue. Even on set, we strive to obtain material that provides as many possibilities for later editing as possible.

In post-production, we organize the recordings, equalize differences between shots, and work on the clarity of the dialogue so that it remains natural and works well with music, atmospheres, and effects.

Sound from the set with post-production in mind

Good post starts on set

Post-production can do a lot, but it works best with material that has been consciously recorded from the start.

That’s why when realizing sound on set, we look not only at the current shot. We also consider editing, scene continuity, necessary backgrounds, atmospheres, and elements that will later be needed when creating the final track.

The better the source material, the fewer compromises at the end of production.

Plan the conversation

What does sound production for a film look like?

Brief and materials
We learn about the production format, script, schedule, and the expected way of using the material.

Preparation of execution
We select equipment and methods of work according to the conditions of the plan or the scope of post-production.

Recordings
We implement sound on set or accept existing material for further work.

Dialogue editing
We organize tracks, synchronize material, and prepare dialogue for further post-production.

Sound design and audio
We build the sound space, add necessary effects, and elements that support the image.

Mix
We combine dialogue, music, and effects into a cohesive whole.

Final materials
We prepare files suitable for the established method of broadcasting or publication.

The image shows. The sound complements.

Sound design is not about randomly adding effects to successive shots.

The sound layer can direct the viewer's attention, build space, increase tension, or make the scene feel more natural. Therefore, we select effects, atmospheres, and other elements according to the drama and character of the production.

In advertising, this may mean precisely highlighting the product. In film — building a world, part of which is off-screen.

Do you already have picture lock or are you preparing the footage?

We can enter the project both before the shoot and at the post-production stage. Send us information about the production and the current stage of work — we will determine the necessary scope of sound execution.

Let's discuss your project!

One partner for the entire audio layer

Less material handover. More continuity.

If we are executing a project from planning to post-production, the person working later on the material knows how it was recorded, the limitations of individual locations, and the decisions made during filming.

This allows for greater continuity between stages and reduces the time needed for new people to familiarize themselves with the project.

In the case of larger productions, we can also work as part of an existing workflow of a production or post-production house.

Film sound and audio post-production – Warsaw

Our facilities are located just outside of Warsaw. We carry out sound on film sets in Warsaw and Mazovia, and with the right scope of production, also in other parts of Poland.

We conduct post-production independently of where the material was created — we can either join a project that we are executing from the filming stage or take over material prepared by another team.

Let's take care of the sound before it becomes a problem in post-production.

Send us information about the production, shooting schedule, or the current stage of editing. We can join at the planning stage, during recordings, or take over finished material for further post-production.

FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions

Post-production can include editing and cleaning up dialogue, sound design, atmospheres, effects, ADR, voiceover recordings, working with music, and final mixing. The exact scope depends on the source material and the requirements of the specific production.

Yes. We can be responsible for recording sound during the shoot, and then continue working on the material in post-production.

Yes. We do not need to participate in the shoot. We can take over existing material and perform a specific range of post-production.

First, we assess the material and check the possibilities for editing and cleaning it up. If it does not allow us to achieve the desired effect, one solution may be to record ADR.

Editing organizes and prepares existing material. Sound design is a more creative stage — it involves consciously building the sound layer, atmosphere, and character of the scenes.

Yes. Voice-over recording can be part of a larger post-production of an advertisement, corporate film, or other audiovisual material.

Yes. We can carry out either a single stage, such as recording a voice-over or mixing, or complete sound design for the advertising material.

It is best to contact us before exporting the materials. We will determine the method of transferring the image, audio tracks, and other files according to the specific project.
